Safe shelter and low-cost housing to disadvantaged

• Low Cost Housing Programs – The program provides opportunities of roofs to the roofless Dalit and COVID-19 migrant families in the villages of Vadipatti Block through construction of Low-Cost Innovative Houses. Also, strategically prioritized to cover the entire roofless Dalit families of Vadipatti through grant making and fundraising.We have constructed indigenous low-cost housing tofamilies in Vadipatti Town Panchayat for the human excrement manual scavengers in the targeted Vadipatti Taluk. Before the provision of housing these above-mentioned families lived under trees, in platforms and in the government camps. There was no protection for the adolescent girls and women of the families. Moreover, these families were exposed to the venomous reptiles and insects. After the provision of housing the girls and women of these families are protected from the dangers they feared of and they are sleeping every night peacefully under the roof provided by VOCRDC.
