Creating safe, affordable and dignified homes that strengthen family security, women's asset ownership and community resilience.
Millions of families in India still lack access to decent shelter and sanitation facilities, which adversely impacts children’s education, women’s safety, and basic hygiene. Our primary objective is to provide affordable, safe, and dignified housing for low-income groups, economically weaker sections, and the homeless, with a priority on destitute women.
We raise awareness about housing rights, mobilize communities, and advocate for more inclusive policies to create an equitable housing sector in India.
To date, we have constructed 225 safe houses for vulnerable families.
In a significant step for women's empowerment and asset ownership, 100% of the houses are legally registered in the name of the woman of the household.
The latest 50 houses were built using cost-effective, thermally efficient compressed earth blocks, promoting sustainable and climate-resilient building practices.
These homes provide children with a safe place to study, enable family members to pursue stable employment, and ensure a secure and dignified environment for women.
