Our History

VOC Rural Development Centre (VOC RDC) was established in 1996 by a group of like-minded individuals, founded by Mr. R.S. Ramasamy—a graduate and native of the target area. Having witnessed the atrocities and harassment faced by women and girls, he dedicated his life to their development.

Mrs. S. Latha, raised in a family of agricultural peasants, willingly took on the responsibility of nature conservation as a priority. Recognized for her commitment, she was appointed to the Executive Board and later unanimously elected President of the organization.
